I think you could do a series of 90 minute documentaries (one for each bike) Just include some graphics to show how and where Allen takes a hacksaw to an engine, scales up components and generally makes astonishing improvements to bikes that are already excellent.

Having followed Allen for years, I have just watched this again. He is off the chart with his engineering brain and skill. Truly up there with the engineering greats and down to earth with it.

the trim won't fit in again after removal, whatever I tried it kept popping out, very frustrating and no videos to show how to do it, very disappointing helmet overall.

I had a rideout with Bikesafe several years ago. Should have clarified at the start it’s ok to go over the speed limit. I stayed within the speed limit as I didn’t want to get pulled up for speeding and assumed he would expect it. He told me after it would have been ok when I felt it was safe to do so.

When you said you were going to go off-road, I thought “Here we go!”. Then, you rode slowly along some slightly muddy lanes, with a few puddles! Let's be fair...it was only “off-road” in the sense that they were not Tarmac! Not exactly a test for your fancy tyres, is it? Pretty much any road tyres would have been fine on the sections you rode, if ridden sensibly. Come on, guys...do it properly, or don't bother!

Not sure he'd want to be a TV presenter but I'd love to see him going round the World, eg looking at custom American bikes, meeting Japanese engineers, examining historic bikes in Germany/Italy, seeing backstreet engineers in India doing great work with minimal tooling, etc, etc. A special with Guy Martin would also be good.

That is a road I do regularly sadly not on my 125 anymore but I have done it in a number of hot hatches VXR, St, GTI and Jaguars and Land Rovers and now an EV also. I carry on at Crathie down to Cambus O'May and head North to Tarland where I grew up and then on to Banchory and Aberdeen to visit family and friends then back to Glasgow usually in a day. It is in my top three roads in Scotland. Fort William to Mallaig is my No.1 and Ullapool to the Torre Roundabout North of Inverness is No.3 with the Snow road N0.2 being Blairgowrie and heading North. I would put The Butt of Lewis to the bottom of Harris as my wildcard entry but that is not so easy to get to as it involves the use of ferries. It is good to see the Snow road from another perspective with the drone shots. Thanks guys a really good film. Thanks.

They both swallowed an ugly pill

Had the chance to ride the old Vitpilon and it was a great little thrasher. Absolutely loved to be rev’d. Bit of a square seat so hope they have sculpted that a bit more. Like the offset rear suspension. Nice video. 👍

If you are using the oncoming lane it is overtaking. Filtering is done using lanes travelling in the same direction. On a single lane road filtering would require you to stay within your lane while moving past slower traffic.

I purchased an RST Brixton CE jacket about 8 weeks ago from a store, on the weekend i noticed thr cuff had torn from the seems and then the main zip failed.. i contacted the distributor and returned it to the store, it was exhanged.. i immediately noticed a difference in the fit, the feel of the armour, the zips were YKK and even the lables looked different.. the first jacket was definitely a knock off..
